TOUR

The “Tour” is the NON-competitive part of the GiroSardegna.

In 2025, greater attention will be paid to cycle tourism, giving the opportunity to all those who do NOT want to compete to express themselves at their best in the way they prefer; you can therefore register by choosing to be:

“Muscular” – you start in a group with a muscular bike to take short and relaxing routes
“E-Bike” – the group of those who, with an assisted bike, want/can go further
“Gravel” – will be the group of those who love to roam without borders on any terrain

… but, obviously, the “Tour” maintains its philosophy of pedaling in complete freedom without competing, and does NOT consider these three “diversities” as barriers that divide, but as the possibility of “mixing”!

The registration fee is the same regardless of whether you do six or seven days and you can register EVEN WITHOUT having a medical certificate or being registered with a Sports Club: it is sufficient to sign the membership with the release declaration.

The “Tour” member pays a lower fee even though he has the same rights as the competitors (personalized number, refreshments, gadgets, random prize draws, etc.); on each day he will be free to choose the route he wants, obviously without participating in the race rankings.

Depending on the number of members in each “group”, a “Guide” will be assigned, taking into account the fact that each day a departure is set “to form a group”, but each cyclist is still free to pedal when, how and with whom he wants and the Guide acts only as support and coordination.

The experience of previous editions teaches that, especially on the first day, the program includes a simple outing suitable for introducing the participants to each other and assessing their cycling ability.
